Contacting Us

If you contact us through the website, email, or phone, we process your provided personal data (e.g., name, email, institution, inquiry) to respond to your request. These are processed to fulfill (pre-)contractual obligations or based on legitimate interests. We do not share this data without your consent. Data is stored for six months unless longer retention is legally required.


Use of the Web Platform

LBG uses the open-source tool Matomo (formerly Piwik) for web analytics. It tracks visitor behavior anonymously for internal statistical purposes. All data is stored solely on LBG’s servers. IP addresses are anonymized.


Google Videos

Legal basis for processing data during platform use is LBG’s legitimate interest per Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, namely providing secure services and protecting users.


User Registration

Creating an account forms a user agreement with LBG. Required personal data includes:

- (Optional) Gender, birth date, phone number

- Name, email, institutional affiliation


These details are needed to fulfill the user agreement. Without them, registration is not possible. Data is used to:

- Set up the account

- Grant access permissions

- Share platform usage information


Users may upload videos, images, or PDFs when applying for specific programs. These are processed solely for evaluation purposes.


Data Sharing

LBG uses IT service providers as processors who may access data under strict conditions.


Data may be shared with:

- Auditors, insurance companies, legal representatives

- Authorities (e.g., tax offices, courts) if legally required


Data is otherwise not shared without consent and is processed within the EU/EEA.


Online Webinars

Webinars may allow the use of chat, questions, or polling features. Any input is processed for display/logging. Participants may be allowed to share their screens, use audio/video, etc. These features can be disabled at any time.


Recordings may occur and will be communicated in advance if so. Consent will be obtained if required.


User Feedback

Users may be contacted for feedback or evaluation of Career Center offerings. Participation is voluntary.


Data Retention

Data is stored for the duration of the user agreement and then deleted or anonymized.

We follow Article 32 GDPR to ensure confidentiality and take appropriate technical and organizational security measures.
