We support researchers as well as leading researchers from the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft and from other Austrian research organisations as well as other professionals from the Ludwig Boltzmann Gesellschaft in their career development!

The LBG Career Center is the first point of contact for all questions about your individual career development.

Within the CC Academy we provide a broad range of offers : from confidential advice & guidance, workshops and programs to develop new skills to social networks with relevant communities in science and beyond.

Our Competence Clusters encompass the key areas of expertise essential for personal and professional growth in research & beyond.

In general, we take into account the skills from ESCO (European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations) in our offers. ESCO is the European multilingual classification of Skills, Competences and Occupations.

The competencies for researchers are based on the EU Research Comp, the European Competence Framework for Researchers. In other specific areas of work, we take into account additional competence frameworks such as the DigComp Framework for Digital Skills.

By aligning with the recognized EU skills framework, we enable researchers and research organizations to compare and present their skills across organizational and national borders.

Analytical thinking
