Program Overview

Researchers often need to balance their research with teaching, writing papers, attending conferences, and personal commitments. This interactive workshop provides practical strategies to manage time more effectively, reduce stress, and work with greater focus and clarity.

Combining evidence-based concepts with hands-on exercises and self-reflection, participants will leave with practical tools they can immediately apply in their daily research work. They will learn how to better prioritize tasks, organize their workload, plan realistically, improve concentration, overcome procrastination, and develop healthier ways to manage stress. The workshop ultimately helps researchers increase productivity while supporting their well-being and long-term success.

The workshop will last 3 hours.

A 1 hour Q&A and reflection session will take place November 16 2026 (1-2 PM).

Who is the trainer?

Miriam Beyers holds a PhD in Environmental Science. During her PhD she realized how essential it is to work effectively not only to increase productivity and research output, but also to maintain well-being. Throughout her doctoral journey, she developed and refined strategies about time management, productivity, stress management and mindfulness, while continously evaluating what worked best in practice. Today, all of this knowledge and expertise are bundled in her company wontime.
