Peers 4 Careers
Turn career goals into action with structure, coaching and peers.
Do you have a specific career goal or challenge, but cannot quite see how to get there?
Then the Peers4Careers Program is exactly right for you.
The program bridges the gap between where you are at the moment and where you want to be. Our structured program will pave the way towards your goal through methodological input from experts, individual and group coaching sessions, as well as peer support.
You will sharpen your goal, develop a concrete action plan and work towards it with the support of your peers, professional coaches and the LBG Career Center. Over six months, you will meet twice a month as part of the programme: in group coaching sessions and in smaller peer circles. Your peer circle will consist of participants who are working towards similar career goals or facing similar challenges. This will give you the opportunity to exchange experiences, learn from each other, support one another and stay on track towards your goal.
Between sessions, you will work independently on your goal, put the input into practice and take the next steps towards your goal.
The program provides the structure and support- you bring the commitment and take ownership of your goal.

Target Group
The Peers 4 Careers Program is designed for Pre- and Post-Doc researchers and group leaders of Ludwig Boltzmann Inistitutes as well as universities and research organizations in Austria who are motivated to accomplish a specific career-related aim until June 2027. All fields of study are accepted!
Application Process
- Register via the "Apply now!" button.
- Upload your application documents via the Online Modules:
- your CV (max. 1 page), and
- letter of motivation (max. 1 page), including
- Your current research role and activities
- Your career goal or challenge you would like to work on during the program
- Why Peers4Careers is the right program for your particular goal or challenge
- What you hope to gain from the program and what you can contribute to your peer group
- How you will ensure your active participation throughout the program, including regular meetings and independent work between sessions
- Signed data protection document
You will receive feedback regarding your application after the end of the application phase.

Financing
LBG Career Center will cover participation costs for the program. All program costs, including group and individual coaching sessions, trainers, venue and catering, are covered for the three in person meetings. Transportation costs are not included in the program and need to be covered by the participants. Registration of participants is binding after P4C launch and failure to attend without a doctor’s note or a reasonable justification (e.g. unforeseeable emergency) will result in a fee of 4200 EUR.
